well, i was quite shock finding about it. I dont know, maybe i m just too late to know about this, even i remember back there before, when i was a young lil' girl, i saw the same flag like Indonesian flag, but i didn't care about it. But now, i realize it. Anyway its not a big deal. What i try to say or ask is why it has to be in exact design?
There are about 192 countries in the world. I am sure that they can make different style and design, to make the identity of the country. Indonesian flag was established since Majapahit era, that is about 13th century, old enough and confident enough until now never single change about this flag. But the flag which i mentioned same like Indonesian flag was adopted the design of the flag since 1881.
Anyway, i respect it. There must be a strong reason behind the choosing of the design of the flag. The question is:"should we make patent for the flag? Or we just keep sceptic and do nothing when Japan patent tempe and malaysia patent batik? :)"

yes, maybe we should make patent for our flag design, because we have lost our traditional song, so that no more lost from country, again :(
